Lest we forget: Dubya on "Intelligent Design"--WTF?!?

By the way, just because I didn't get it together until now to register my state of aghast at the President of our "fair" nation speaking in favor of public schools teaching "Intelligent Design" (a.k.a. the same old Christian fundamentalist superstition masquerading as pseudo-science that they've previously tried to get all entitled about under the name of "Creationism," only now attempting to hind behind an even more blandly 1984-doublespeak label), doesn't mean I am any the less aghast. What next? Making ten-year federal budget plans taking into account the imminent advent of the Rapture?!? All I can say is, as pissed off as I am about this man having stolen the election, I suppose I should be glad he hasn't made himself the US Fundamentalist Christian Ayatollah. (Or maybe that's what's coming next? Handmaid's Tale scenario, here we come!)
